Die groep bedien markte vir voorskoolse, primêre en sekondêre skole, tersiêre en professionele instellings, biblioteke asook handels- en handwerkwinkels, en voorsien spesialismateriaal vir 'n omvattende reeks opvoedkundige, akademiese, professionele en niche-gebiede uit 'n plaaslike voorraad van meer as 15 000 titels.

Die groep het vier afdelings:

• Boekpromosies - gestig in 1967 en verantwoordelik vir alle bemarkings- en promosionele aktiwiteite
• Horizon Books - gestig in 1986 en voorsien die groep van 'n volledige verspreidingsdiens vanaf sy pakhuis in Kaapstad
• Book Mark Services - gestig in 1989 en gebruik direkte posreklameveldtogte en ander vorms van promosies om spesialisverbruikers te bereik
• Horizon Library Services - gestig in 1999 en is 'n lid van die Suid-Afrikaanse Boekhandelaarsvereniging. Bedien institusionele, provinsiale en munisipale biblioteke.
